Prepare for a Lot!

Many of us pray prayers and desire miracles but a careful look at our lives does not indicate our readiness for the harvest we pray for. Take for instance a young graduate who prays for employment but does not know how to pass an interview or even write a proposal letter. Or the young man who prays for wealth but lacks financial discipline and does not even know what a personal budget looks like. Or maybe the pastor of a small church who prays for growth but lacks management and leadership skills to handle a larger congregation. It looks like we carry cups to God and ask for buckets of water. It won't happen. If we don't prepare our minds to receive big, it won't come. God is a responsible Father. He won't give us what we cannot handle. So if we want to receive big, then we need to prepare for big. Let's examine our lives and attitudes and see if we are prepared to receive the blessings we ask for.
